1.         Role Objective

The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in all aspects of data analytics, including mining, generation, and visualization. Additionally, should be committed to transforming data into readable, goal-driven reports for continued innovation and growth. 

2.         Detailed Roles and Responsibilities

•           Develop, implement, and maintain leading-edge analytic systems, taking complicated problems and building simple frameworks.

•           Identify trends and opportunities for growth through analysis of complex data sets.

•           Evaluate organizational methods and provide source-to-target mappings and information-model specification documents for data sets.

•           Create best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization.

•           Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, developing and maintaining protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data.

•           Work directly with management and users to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships.

3. Responsibilities:

•           Work closely with project managers to understand and maintain focus on their analytical needs, including identifying critical metrics and KPIs and delivering actionable insights to relevant decision-makers

•           Proactively analyze data to answer key questions from stakeholders or out of self-initiated curiosity with an eye for what drives business performance, investigating and communicating areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity.

•           Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis, integrating various reporting components from multiple data sources

•           Define and implement data acquisition and integration logic, selecting appropriate combination of methods and tools within defined technology stack to ensure optimal scalability and performance of the solution.

•           Develop and maintain databases by acquiring data from primary and secondary sources and building scripts that will make our data evaluation process more flexible or scalable across data sets.

Key Responsibilities

·Lead, plan, prioritize and organize project activities. Develop business project plans/schedules while balancing business needs and expectations.

·Take charge in gathering, prioritizing and validating business requirements through interviews, workshops, working sessions (e.g. brainstorming sessions) with logistics partners.

·Responsible for driving User Acceptance Test (UAT) deliverables within the logistics function, including writing the logistics test scripts and executing some test steps depending on business resource availability.

·Possesses the soft skills and analytical mind in managing between the cross functional teams and operations function to ensure logistics requirements and objectives are met alongside the broader organization benefits 

·Manage across internal and external partners expectations especially with competing project constraints. A key challenge being balancing bandwidth / availability of project SMEs with their functional work

·Ability to identify and manage project risks throughout the life of a project.

·Communicate to management and partners to provide clarity in project scope, timelines, risk, benefits across the project life cycle on a regular basis.

·Drive vendors effectively to achieve project deliverables and ensure project is delivered on schedule. 

·Have a keen eye for details and auditing flair to do post-implementation audits to include expected versus actual improvements to the overall supply chain as a result of the implementation of the project. 

Key Qualifications

·Must have exposure in logistics domain (Shipping terminals, Port operations)

·More than 8 years of experience in business analysis and project management

·At least 5 years of working experience in a driving seat leading project deliveries Logistics & Ports domain

·Project Management certification (PMP) preferred

·Demonstrated experience/track record in project management, including management of scope, time and schedule, with balance of quality and risk management

·Driven and motivated with a strong sense of urgency, focus on outcomes and works toward success.

·Virtual teaming, and ability to work with multi-disciplinary business groups.

·Proficient with MS Project, Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic project planning tools.

·Dynamic, Creative thinker with a practical approach to problem solving a process improvement

·Positive energy and attitude with a thirst for personal growth
