Job Description for Senior Project Engineer - Technical

This role is responsible to provide Post Sale Technical Support to customer . Will have to be involved
from an Application / Project conceptualization to Implementation . Should be able to study , gather
additional information for the Project execution , validate its compatibility to create desired solution as
per customer needs. ( Electrical Drawing , Software Programming ) , liaisoning with cross functional
teams. He has to visit / travel to site alone OR with other team member as and when required. He
should be able to guide team of Junior Project Engineer for their work or any difficulties.

Critical Skills:
 Ability to provide Solution through Automation system ( PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFD, AC servo).
 Knowledge of Electrical Control Panels and wiring like DOL, Star/Delta, other interlock of Panels
and some instruments like Temperature Controller, Power Meter etc.
 He must be able to do Coding ( Programming) of all Automation Components , precise and brief
coding ability to give best solution to customer.
 Good interpersonal, communication skills .
 Able to guide Project Engineers and Service Engineers in their respective field for their
difficulties and give them proper solution.

Professional Experience:
 6+ Years of Experience with larger field experience in Industrial Automation BA as Project /
Service Engineer role.

 Broad Domain experience ( AC Drives / Motion Control Applications / AC Servo Drives / PLC-
HMI Programming )

 Knowledge of PLC Programming, field experience on AC Drive (VFD) , AC Servo Drive , SCADA
Programming are essential

B.Tech/B.E. – Computers, MCA , M.Sc IT, M.Tech

• Must have a very good understanding of the Insurance Domain (Property and Casualty).
• • Having experience in Excess & Surplus lines will be an added advantage.
• • Must have conducted workshops for requirement elicitation with business stakeholders.
• • Should be good at Understanding and Mapping.
• • Should have prepared Business requirement documents & user documentation for the systems
• being developed.
• • Coordinated with web design team for the webpage designing.
• • Should have reviewed the functional specification documents.
• • Guided the testing team on functional aspects and in building test cases.
• • Involved in work stream calls and defect review meetings.
• • Performing Functional Testing, User Acceptance Testing and GAP Analysis. Stakeholder
• analysis to understand functional implications of proposed business requirements.

Education

B.Tech/B.E. – Computers, MCA , M.Sc IT, M.Tech

Responsibilities

• Should have hands on expirece in Framework .Net 3.5 or above, WCF, ASP.Net MVC(optional).
• Clear fundamentals of OOPS concept.
• Candidate with knowledge of T-SQL is more preferred.
• Hands on experience with Web Services (Rest or SOAP) and Experience with XML/JSON
file manipulation is bonus point.
